A quiet evening, a random idea

I was just scrolling, thumb moving without much thought. The screen was a blur of colors and words that didn't really land. Then I saw it, a simple list, and I just clicked.

The moment you stop thinking

It was one of those nights where talking felt like too much effort. We were just sitting there, the silence comfortable but a little heavy. Someone mentioned needing to get out of our own heads for a bit.That's when I remembered the list. I didn't present it like a big plan. I just said, "Hey, I found this random thing." There was no pressure, no need to decide if it was a good idea or not.

What we ended up doing

We didn't pick the most exciting thing. We picked the one that required the least amount of moving. It was something silly, almost childish. But that was the point, I think.For the next hour, we weren't solving problems or planning the week. We were just doing this one simple, pointless activity. The room filled with a different kind of quiet, the easy kind.

It didn't fix anything

And that was okay. The world outside was still there, with all its noise. But in that room, for a little while, it was just us and a bit of shared, aimless fun.
