About This Spin Wheel
I was just sitting there, waiting for a friend to text back. My thumb was scrolling through nothing in particular, just passing time, when I saw the wheel thing. It was one of those days where you don't really have a plan, but you feel like you should.
Making a list without meaning to
I wasn't trying to be productive or clever. I just started thinking about the last time we went out and did something simple. It wasn't about a big night out or anything. The ideas came in quietly, like things we'd mentioned in passing. A food truck we keep saying we'll find. That weird little bookstore downtown. It felt more like remembering than planning. How the wheel just sits there
After I typed them all out, the list just sat on the screen. It looked nice, actually. A little collection of 'maybe's. I didn't spin it right away.It was more the comfort of having options laid out. Knowing the decision was made, or could be made, without any pressure. The waiting felt different after that, less empty. The quiet click
I did click it once, just to see. It landed on something simple, and I smiled. Not because it was the perfect idea, but because it was decided. The mental space cleared up just like that.
