A weekend for when you're tired of people

Sometimes you just need a weekend that doesn't involve coordinating with anyone. I was staring at my phone, scrolling through messages, and the thought of making another plan felt like a chore.

I found an old decision wheel app

It was buried in a folder on my phone. I hadn't used it in ages, not since I was trying to decide what to eat for dinner years ago. The interface was simple, just a blank circle waiting for options.I started typing things that felt possible. Not exciting things, just possible ones. The kind of activities that don't require you to be 'on' for someone else. It was a relief to even write them down.

Letting the wheel decide for me

I gave the wheel a spin. It whirred around for what felt like a long time, the colors blurring together. My mind went quiet just watching it.When it finally stopped, I just stared at the result for a second. Then I laughed. It was such a simple, obvious thing.
