A last look at the prize list

I was setting up the giveaway wheel for our little campaign, the kind that runs for just a week. It felt important to get it right, to make it feel fair from the start.

Double-checking everything

I had the list of coupon codes and small prizes typed out. Before I hit the button to launch it, I went through them one more time, just to be sure. It’s a strange feeling, that final quiet moment before something goes live. You’re just looking at a list of names and numbers, but it represents what people might actually win.

Making it feel optional

I wanted the language around it to be clear, not pushy. The whole point was for it to be a fun little thing you could join if you wanted to, or just ignore. No pressure, no urgency. Just a simple spin if the mood struck you. That felt like the right tone for something small and genuine.

The quiet launch

I posted it and stepped back. There’s no fanfare needed, just the quiet start of a limited run.
